Bluetooth’s Apprentice

Welcome
Wednesday 21st June  Had a good start to the day when Tweed arrived - we played in the garden until Dave took me for a ride in the car.  We went to a lot of shops - everyone keeps asking questions about ME - I must be very important.  Dave put a BIG box into the car that he got from one of the shops. Do you like my picture?  I am king of the castle. This stuff was nice and soft and was greeeat for digging in. Tweed was still at home when we got back so I went out into the garden to play with him again.  Dave called me in for my lunch and we both discovered that I had cut my leg - Dave kept asking me how I did it, but I don't know do I?? He took me to the doctors so that it could be looked at - the man put something into my neck - I did not feel anything. Di came back from her trip and gave me lots of fuss when she saw my leg (I will have to play on this to see if I can get extra treats).  I put on my best 'poor me' face - always works.
Thursday 22nd June Had a very busy day today (and busy, busy ha ha!) Tweed came around again and we had a good time running around the garden.  Dave then filled the back of his car with rubbish - I helped by grabbing bits of paper and running off with them down the path by the side of the house.  We then went and emptied all the rubbish into big metal containers.  After this Dave took me for a walk by a busy road and then to a place where they sell cameras and he talked to someone for a long time.  This was boring so I went to sleep. Tweed was still at home so we had another good run around the garden. After lunch Dave took me in the car where we meet Josie and Lesley again and another puppy Logan who is 7months old.  He played rough (well I am only a baby you know!) and was put on his lead - I had a great time with Josie, we were laughing at Logan - don't think he liked it. We then went to a shopping centre where I had to be on my BEST behaviour - NO sniffing - had to walk in a straight line (boring) etc.  But we had a chew while the humans had a cup of something brown, coffee?.  Had a good look around the shops but I could only find one that was interesting that sold treats Back home Tweed was STILL there so we had another game of chase :-))) PS.  Tweed likes having his ear chewed, so I always make that my main objective! Dave took me and Di to a pub for a drink, they called it training, ha!- I was so tired that I fell asleep and didn't even notice where I was, so how is that training!
Friday 23rd June Dave left me with Di for the morning as he was going somewhere - without me!  I made it very clear what I thought of this, and Di had to rush her shower as I made such a lot of noise - well Dave does feed me, how did I know Di knew how to do it too. Tweed came over again so we had a good game of chase around the garden.  Tweed left early today :-(  His human is on holiday next week, they said I won't see him again, that makes me sad - he has become a good mate and lets me play rough and jump on him whenever I want.  He never retaliates, which is even better! When Dave came back we went for a long walk to the shops - I was the STAR again - I like all the attention that I get.  Dave has to tell everyone how IMPORTANT I am and what I will be doing when I grow up.  On the way back home we went to a field where I had a good run (it was a BIG field so I did not go too far away from Dave) Now I know I was still tired after my long day yesterday, but did Di really have to take a picture of me with my tongue sticking out!  She kept laughing, but I don't think it is funny actually!
Saturday 24th June Can't wait to tell you what we did today... we went to the diver place again, and Di came too this time.   Of course, I was the star of the show again and got lots of attention.  Dave went in for a dive, I told him he looked silly, but he just ignored me! Luckily Jason was there to do the rabbit ears instead for me. When Dave came out of the water, and I said goodbye to everyone, Di had to take one last picture of me and George, but you can see what I thought of that! On the way home we called in at a lovely shop that sold food just for me!! Dave bought me some treats - but made me wait...and I'm still waiting!  Then in the evening I went next door for a football kickaround with the boys - great fun, no girls allowed!
Sunday 25th June We went to another diver place today, quite close to home - just up the road, I had just settled down for a nap in the car, when we got there.  Dave went in (again!) for a dive, while I did my best to entertain all the other divers and a couple of small humans who were there like me looking after the grown ups.  Di was looking after me (that's what she thinks) and I got introduced to lots of people.  I went for a paddle again, and got upset when Dave disappeared under the water - where did he go?  He came back later though - I gave him lots of attention as he probably thought he was lost. We then went to a pub with lots of nice smells. I was so good (ok I was tired!) that no-one even knew I was there until we had to leave.  Then it took ages to get out as they all wanted to talk to me. I helped Dave to wash his dive kit later, and helped some humans from across the road as they want to get a puppy and I showed them how fantastic I was, so they might want one like me!  Later we watched football on the telly and my friend Clive came over to talk to Dave & Di about radiators - how boring, they should always talk about ME!
Monday 26th June I got lots of attention from people in the big building - but I have to admit I was scared with the big staircases - you could see right through them - so Dave had to carry me up.  I did go in a glass lift all the way to the top of that tower though - so I was brave really.  Mum, can we try it again when I am a bit bigger, I am sure I won't be so scared again. This lady who was stroking me had a big bump in her tummy - I thought she had too much Eukanuba, but Dave said she was expecting - whatever that means.... In the evening we went to Di's Mum again and she gave me a big cuddle as she says she won't see me again before I go back home.
Tuesday 27th June I was excited to see what we were going to do today, Dave has not let me down yet.  We had to wait in so Dave could talk to a boring man about a boring extension - they didn't even talk about me, I was most indignant.  Things looked up later though, we went for a walk with Lesley and my girlfriend Josie. We played hide and seek, but I don't think Josie is very good at it. After our walk, we had a good drink - and (as you can see) all Josie wanted to do was kiss me - how embarrassing! After our run and our drink (and our busy's), we went to a shopping centre - and Di joined us.  We had a good rest, under the table and only tried to play with each other a few times.....  We then had to walk properly through all the people and Dave took me up some stairs - and I wasn't scared like I was yesterday.  Josie was though - but when Dave got out the really meaty treats she shot up there - so I think she was pretending! Dave was digging up his back garden later and he found some nests - ants I think he said they were.  I don't like them, they ran all over my nose, and I was only looking at them. I think we are off to the pub again in a minute - hooray I get a sleep at last! It's my last day tomorrow - I better make the most of it.  Can't wait to see Mum & Dad again though - wonder what they have brought me back from their holiday!
Wednesday 28th June Went for my usual walk in the morning, took Dave with me, he pines if I leave him at home without me!- we went to a huge place called B & Q and then FOOD shopping on the way home (don't suppose I will get any of it though)  Later I helped Dave tidy the garden up. I kept bringing him back sticks that he cleared from the grass, he thought it was a good trick - well I did anyway! In the afternoon we went to the newspaper shop where I said goodbye to all the nice people who work there. I told them I will come again, if I am allowed. I am looking forward to getting back to my REAL home. Holidays are nice, but it is always best when you get back home. I am looking forward to seeing mum and dad again, and telling them all about my holiday - maybe they can read my diary and see what I got up to.  Dave & Di would like to see me again, and see how I grow - I have put on weight since I have been on holiday - but that is what holidays are for aren't they?  Di took a picture of me with all my stuff packed up ready to go, I didn't realise I had so much....must go now, need to make sure they remembered to pack MY FOOD!  L ove Spencer xxx
