Week 17 - Tooth fairy please call here...... 17th December 2006
I am getting fed up with losing my teeth at the moment, every time I try and bite something, another one falls out! There is
one particularly loose one at the moment and Mum & Dad keep thinking they can loosen it a bit more...but I'm smarter than
they think I am and manage to evade them wiggling it any more.
I have had a great week again, on Monday Mum & Dad went to a christmas lunch for puppy walkers so I stayed with a
really nice couple for the day. Their puppy Herbie has gone in for training at the moment, and I did pick up a few tips from
what they were saying about him, about how to have fun with my trainers by pretending I am deaf.............pardon, can you
repeat that, did you want me to go left or right here!! My new Dad for the day took me to meet his Mum & Dad, and then on
to lots of different places, which I really enjoyed. I was very tired when I got home later and only woke up to go outside for
a busy, and then back to sleep again. I hope I can get to go back there again, they were nice.
The next day, Mum & Dad were off again to a Christmas meal, but I was alright, Nan came round and looked after me. She
also had Pixie to look after, so we had a good rough and tumble and kept Nan amused for hours (just as well, because Mum
& Dad were late home, tut tut!). On Thursday & Friday I went to the quarry where Dad goes diving, I didn't get wet, and
didn't rummage around anything I shouldn't. I met another dog there, but he didn't want to play, so we just had a chat. I got
a picture taken of me next to some equipment they use for diving. I look really interested in it don't I!?
One last thing before I go, I am getting a teensy bit jealous, everyone used to say how handsome I was, but now everyone
keeps talking about 'H' and saying how stunning he is. Even Nan & Dad are saying it, I shall have to curb his good looks
somehow, now let me think what could I do, what could I do......

p.s. I forgot to tell you, I am 5 months old today!
Week 18 - Merry Christmas everybody!! 24th December 2006
Hello everyone, well it is Christmas Eve and I am getting very excited as Mum & Dad tell me it is Christmas Day tomorrow
and I just might get some presents.... I have written a list, just in case, which I will show you later. First I must tell you about
my week, as it has been another one of getting out and about.
Dad & I have been to lots of shops and meets lots of people. Mum was going to Norwich for the night, so Dad & I were
planning to have a boys night in, but her flight was cancelled due to fog and she came back! I was quite pleased really (I
think she was too!). Did I tell you Mum had sprained her ankle a while ago, well we had a hilarious incident this week,
when Mum was walking gingerly down the stairs, but dropped a wrapped up present she was carrying (it was soft so
didn't break), but I could get to it much quicker than she could, so I did. She had to bribe me with treats from my doggy
advent calendar before I gave it back. We were on 24th December nearly a week ago!
Do you like my picture - a couple of advent calendar treats were used up to get that picture too. This week, I had another
walk with 'H' and we both got quite muddy, spoilt his good looks a little I think (I hope).
Last night we went to Mums' sisters' house and there were a lot of people there, and one dog - Lacey. She was a bit grumpy
and didn't want to play, so I left her alone. In the evening they were playing with a musical lobster - sounds weird doesn't
it, well you should have seen it. I was scared out of my wits until I realised it wasn't real, then I said that I hadn't been
scared at all, just pretending :)) Today I went with Dad to service his car, that was fun. I sat in the car while it went up on a
ramp, oooerr!
Anyway without further ado, here is my Christmas list:-
6 things I want for Christmas
Any toy that squeaks
A walk and play with other dogs, preferably in very muddy conditions
Food
A new kong with bits of cheese stuffed inside (cheddar please)
Soft & fluffy blanket for my bed
More food
4 things I do NOT want for Christmas
A bath or shower
A visit to the vet for anything nasty
A walk having to wear tinsel round my neck
More loose teeth (not many of the old ones left now anyway)
I am going to bed now to dream about (chasing) Father Christmas, I have left out a stocking and a mince pie - if he doesn't
eat it, I am sure I will. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and happy new year. I love reading your comments on my
diary, so please keep adding them.

Week 19 - Happy New Year everyone........ 1st January 2007
Well, this was my first Christmas and I really enjoyed it! I got some presents, and none of the things I didn't want, which
was good. The only thing I don't like about Christmas is the amount of time people (like Mum & Dad!) spend sitting at a
table. If they are not eating, they are playing cards. It's not fair, everyone should always be spending time playing with me.
However, in between the 'up the table' thing, they did take me for some great walks - all part of my training you know. I
think Mum & Dad were very pleased with me as I did not jump up at any one while I was on the walks, and I came running
back to them when they called me, every time. Hey, you would go running back too if you knew there was a treat waiting
for you!
During the break, Dad decided to finish the decorating of the utility room, so I thought I would help, as you can see! Dad
needed me to hold this bit of skirting board - he would have liked it back too, but that wasn't going to happen! I also 'helped'
with the instructions for putting the new units together. Dad was ever so pleased that he had to get the sellotape out before
he could read them!
On one of the days, we went for a long ride in the car, which I enjoy and ended up in a big shopping centre. I must admit, I
did find that a bit boring, but I didn't like to say as Mum & Dad seemed to be enjoying themselves. At one point we were in
a big shoe shop and Dad was trying on some new shoes (Mum had gone somewhere else by now) and it was a bit tedious,
so I grabbed a shoe from the floor and started to have a chew. I didn't know it was another man’s, who had just taken his
shoe off to try on a new one, did I? Dad was trying not to laugh, but I know he thought it was funny really (don't know
about the man though!). After hours and hours of traipsing around shops we went to have a coffee and I showed how tired
and fed up I was by this stage. Everyone thought I was cute. Cute, that wasn't what I wanted them to think! It was supposed
to be, poor dog, he is fed up, let's get him home! I must work on this technique.
Anyway, the best part of the week was yet to come, Mum & Dad had another party at our house for my puppy mates (and
their mums & dads). I had over, Harry, Spencer & Chelsea. Mum realised that as the weather had been wet all week and the
garden was like a mud pit, maybe it hadn't been such a good idea, but we thought it was GREAT. Look at the floor....it's a
good job mum & dad haven't got a carpet yet. Anyway, we were rolling around quite happily in the garden, when they put
a stop to it, I suppose I was getting in a bit of a mess, but that is what a party is for isn't it? Oh, before I go Mum says I must
say thank you for my presents.
So, thankyou to Pixie for my chews (all gone by the way), thank you to Harry for my stocking and the carols you put on my
last weeks diary (everyone was singing Bingle Jells, Pickle smells to me all week - thanks!), thank you to Spencer & Chelsea
for my choccy drops and stuff, thank you to Nan for a new toy and thank you to Gran for a donation to Guide Dogs (I will
make sure they get it).
Muuuuum, is this alright?

Week 18 - Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.... 31st December 2006
I am off out with Mum & Dad for New Years eve celebrations, so I don't have time to update my diary today. I will update it
tomorrow with tales (tails!) of my Christmas week.
