Week 7 - Mud, mud, glorious mud
I've been playing in the garden, can you tell?
Dad gave me my first, and second bath all in one day. After this
picture was taken and I had a bath, I went out in the garden and did
it again - ha ha ha! It wouldn't have mattered too much, but I was
asked to go along to a meeting on Tuesday night to pick up some
money that everyone had collected for my sponsorship, so I needed
to be clean. I thought they should see me how I really am, but Dad
didn't agree for some reason.
I collected the money and everyone said how cute I was. Mum and
Dad were muttering something, but I couldn't quite catch what it
was! I have had another incident this week, but Dad won't let me
put any details in my diary - but it involved me, Mum & Dad, a
shop and an upset tummy! Oh, something else I have done this
week is to go and see the nice vet, and he gave me an injection. It is
to stop me getting a nasty illness which dogs can sometimes get. It
didn't hurt, I think Dad flinched more than I did!
Update Sunday....Me and Dad hab got a cawd today, so we are
stayig in the howse.

Week 8 - Run rabbit, run rabbit
Bet you are wondering what the title of this post is all about, well it refers to an 'incident' in our garden. I was in the
garden doing a busy busy, and from nowhere came a rabbit (not that I knew what it was until Mum told me), but
because I was in the middle of a busy, I couldn't do anything but watch it run the full length of the garden. Mum
says my face was a picture. The other dog is my buddy, Spencer - he invited me round for a sleepover and as you
can see, we did a good job of it, ha ha!
My training is still going well and I have learnt all the commands I need to so far. It will be fun when I can get to go
out in the fields and meet other dogs which should be soon as I will have had all my injections. I will also be able to
do a lot more walking then, Dad and I get as far as the local shops at the moment, then I am ready for a lie down -
well I am still a baby you know!
Mum and Dad were a bit weepy eyed this week, they heard that their first dog Fabian has just been matched to a
blind person and should be working from the middle of November. I still don't understand humans, why do they
cry when they are hurt (from my teeth!), happy (laughing at something I have done!) or when they are sad (hearing
about Fabian). If some-one can explain it to me, I would be grateful............ Dad says I should also tell you that I have
been to a big shopping centre this week and on a train and to a cheese and wine party........

Week 9 - I heard it through the grapevine
This is a picture that Mum took, thinking she was being all arty, me with me behind. I was just waiting for my treat that
she was holding out - bribery I think they call it!
The title of this weeks update is to let you know of a couple of things I have heard about - the first one, which is really
great news is that one of Mum & Dads puppy walker friends heard that her last puppy, Robin has now become a
qualified guide dog. I didn't get to meet him, but I heard all about how Fabian pushed him in Mum and Dads pond. They
said that they think he enjoyed it as he jumped back in again!
The other bit of news is that my mate Jasper didn't make it through the training in big school, so he is going to go and
have fun in another home. Mum and Dad did the weepy eye thing again - I'm still confused about it..........
Hmmmmm, what else have I done this week, well I had my last injection at the vets, so I can go out and play with other
dogs now, and I have been for lots of training walks. Oh yes, I met up with my supervisor and my mates Harry and
Logan, we went for a a show off walk around and then for a coffee. One of us (!) did a bit of barking, and a man came over
and told us off. It was only because we were happy - not like him!! I had a card from my Gran over in the Isle of Wight
and she said how proud she was of me and liked my diary, apparently it gets read by quite a few people now. I have even
heard that some people up in big school read it - I had better be careful what I put in it in future as they might make fun
of me when I get up there - especially if I have any more embarrassing incidents in shops. Mind you, that was more
embarrassing for Mum and Dad than it was for me!
I must also mention that I met my other Auntie & Uncle from Derby and my cousin, with their dog George. He was very
friendly and played with me until I was tired out. I am off for a sleep now, this growing lark is such hard work..........
Update Sunday, we went round to Nan & Granddads to play cards, everyone didn't seem happy when I played my
'trump' card, 5 times! I can't help it, must be what they feed me!!
